The warm, salty breeze blew softly as a dark thunderstorm gently rumbled its way over the beach in the slightly distant Northern sky. Â Life seems to slow down it’s quick tempered pace as the waves rhythmically wash over the shore, allowing me to breathe in the fresh air and reset.
Last week, my family and I had the opportunity to travel to Nags Head, North Carolina on the Outer Banks for a brief, but needed vacation with friends. Â While there, I had the honor of photographing our friends, a wonderful, loving family. Â They are just so cool, and our kids get along great, too! Â (Our kids are, in fact, hilarious together!)
I love how they chose cool turquoise to match the calm mood of the beach.  With the breeze blowing and the waves hitting the shore, it was just gorgeous!  They did a fantastic job during their beach family portrait session, even though that storm that I mentioned in the first paragraph was creeping toward us.  Fortunately, it moved slowly!
