I love history! And in many ways, I have to admit that I “inherited” my love for history from my amazing hubby, who has initiated a love for learning history in our family. To top it off, we live in an area that is saturated with history. Our recent family portrait session was conducted at The Historic Post Office, which is situated in the heart of the Hampton Downtown Historic District in Hampton, VA. Originally built in 1914, this unique location is currently undergoing renovations and will celebrate their grand opening for hosting weddings and events on January 5, 2017. This historic location will be an amazing venue! From whitewashed brick walls, arches, wrought iron railings, and beautiful bride and groom suites elegantly adorned with sophisticated seating and fireplaces to a spacious lobby, this lovely venue has so much to offer.
The Lynk family looked amazing! I love how they coordinated the navy blue, tan and cream color palette. Their smiles are contagious, and the love they have for each other was easy to see. Honestly, they are some of the sweetest people I know. Their kids, who really aren’t “kids” anymore, are so full of personality and joy! As we ventured from one section of the historic venue to the next, this sweet family was so easy to work with.
