Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. The bright sun with warmer daytime temperatures here in Newport News, Virginia and crisper temps at night make spending time outdoors enjoyable. Even though the leaves here in the Tidewater Region of Virginia wait until late October / early November to turn, the days are absolutely gorgeous.
The Noland Trail, located in beautiful Mariners’ Museum Park, offers five miles of trail for recreation with breathtaking views. Along with the maritime history that is richly embedded in the museum, the trail boasts of local history as well. It is one of the many gems in Newport News, Virginia.
I had the honor of photographing Erin and Dylan on the Noland Trail on a glowy, Saturday morning. It was such a sweet session, not only because of their recent engagement, but also because they included Erin’s mom, Heather, in their session.
Erin and Dylan met their freshman year in high school in Newport News. It wasn’t until just after high school, though, that they began dating. Now, they are engaged! They were such a joy to photograph and the love they have for one another was very evident throughout their session. Congratulations, Erin and Dylan!
