New look, the same Virginia photography you know and love.

It was a very chilly day in Historic Yorktown, Virginia, especially on the very windy beach!  Mary Beth, however, was such a trooper!  The sunlight illuminated everything it enveloped as Mary Beth gracefully transitioned into beautiful yoga poses.  She makes it look so easy, though I know it takes a great deal of strength, concentration, and endurance.  Mary Beth became very interested in yoga a while back and has advanced in her technique.  She now teaches Vinyasa yoga and is passionate about helping others achieve wellness and fitness.  Vinyasa yoga has many benefits such as stress relief, increased flexibility, improved muscle tone,  and increased focus and concentration. As we walked on the beach she explained to me that one of the core values of yoga is perseverance.  I couldn’t help but think how very relevant that concept is throughout life.  I absolutely love a good challenge when it comes to fitness, being outdoors, or in learning new things.  It is when we push ourselves beyond what we think we can do that we achieve amazing things!

Mary Beth has several really cool events coming up.  On Saturday, March 31 and Saturday, April 14, head on over to the Billsburg Brewery in Williamsburg, Virginia.  From 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. on both Saturdays you can  participate in a yoga class with Mary Beth and enjoy a beer for $10.00.  Half of the proceeds will be donated to the National Military Family Association, a charity that supports military families.   You can find out more about it here for the March 31st event or here for the April 14th event.  For additional information about this very talented gal, follow her on Facebook at Yoga with Mary Beth.  Namaste!
