Portrait Sessions

Have you ever stopped to wonder what your great grandparents’ lives were like? Maybe you have some pictures that have remained in your family that help tell your family’s story. Maybe you have pictures of your parents and grandparents that you can use to revisit life in the past with them as they share their story with you and your children. In this day and age, there are fewer and fewer printed photographs of people. If we lost our ability to pull up our images on our cell phones or social media to share with our kids about what they were like when they were little, an entire generation would be without any images of themselves throughout their childhood and into adulthood. I have this picture sitting on my desk as a reminder that I need to print my pictures. Someone in my family took this picture of my cousin and I snuggling in with our Mamaw. I don’t remember this moment at all. But being able to see this moment in print is such a gift.
