Tall, wispy, yellow grass in a field? Yes, please! This Senior Session, which took place in Yorktown, Virginia, began in a field. This Senior is an athlete who wanted to showcase his love of baseball and football. Since the sports fields were not available, we opted for a local field. We worked to capture him “in action” and I love how his images show his personality combined with baseball and football. In addition to sports, he also brought his college shirt to reflect his next steps at Virginia Tech. For this part of his session, we went to Historic Yorktown to a location that is known as “Tobacco Road”, which is where people in the 17th and 18th centuries traveled to bring tobacco and other exported goods down to the port facilities on the York River. This walking path is lined with trees and is a great location to use as the sun begins to slip behind the tall, Loblolly Pines and bamboo. There is a partial wooden fence at the entrance of the meandering path also, where I had him lean.
If you are a Senior who would love to incorporate your talents into your Senior Session, let’s chat about how we can make this a reality for you.
