Williamsburg Winery Wedding Photography | Williamsburg, Virginia

The Williamsburg Winery, founded in 1985, is nestled in the Wessex Hundred in Williamsburg, Virginia.  This 300 acre winery boasts a lovely European-Style Country hotel, The Wedmore Place in addition to Café Provençal,  and The Gabriel Archer Tavern.  It is a prime location for weddings because of the indoor and outdoor options along with incredible scenery and culinary experience.

The Winery has two locations in the upper level of Westbury Hall for brides and grooms to get ready and to relax in before the festivities begin.  As you head downstairs from the suites, you will see Westbury Hall, which is a Tudor style barn with lots of natural light, a grand entrance with walk-out ramp access, a banquet room with large, iron lit chandeliers, and exposed wood beams.  This space can serve as reception space, cocktail hour space, and even indoor ceremony space.  In addition to being able to have your wedding ceremony in Westbury Hall, you can also opt to have your ceremony on Wessex Lawn, which overlooks a pond and part of the vineyards.

Your reception can take place in Wessex Hall, which is the perfect location for your guests to enjoy their meal and then dance the night away as they celebrate you.  It holds 200 seated guests, is lit by iron chandeliers, and features two stone fireplaces that were imported from Bordeaux, France.

There are a variety of beautiful locations for wedding photography.  I love the vineyard area, the green space near the pond, the tree lined paths, and the wine barrel cellar for photos of the couple.

Wedmore Place, just a short walk from the Wessex Hall, is a 28 room boutique hotel that can accommodate you and your guests for an overnight stay.  Additionally, it is a lovely location for elopements and wedding photography.

If you are a bride who is looking for a beautiful vineyard wedding venue that can accommodate up to 200 guests,  the Williamsburg Winery will not disappoint.
