A Williamsburg Winery Wedding
It was an incandescent, sunny day for the most joyful wedding that I second shot for Meredith Ryncarz Photography. Paul and Sophie were radiant as they celebrated their love for one another throughout the day at this exquisite venue. The Williamsburg Winery, founded in 1985, is nestled in the Wessex Hundred in Williamsburg, Virginia. This 300 acre winery boasts a lovely European-Style Country hotel, The Wedmore Place in addition to Café Provençal, and The Gabriel Archer Tavern. It is a prime location for weddings because of the indoor and outdoor options along with incredible scenery and culinary experience.
The First Look
Before the wedding ceremony, Paul saw his beautiful bride, Sophie, next to the vineyard for their first look. They were elated to finally see one another for the first time that day and it was beautiful to see his admiration for his beautiful bride. The wedding party stood at a distance in support of the bride and groom.

The Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony was accented with blush and burgundy florals by Aleen Floral Design. These elegant details included the tasting of honey, pepper, and vinegar during the ceremony. These represented the joy, challenges, and perseverance in marriage. My other favorite part was the first look. The obvious joy on their faces as they interacted was endearing. The final highlight was a quick trip to the wine cellar for portraits of the bride and groom.

The Wedding Reception
The reception was made complete with a lavish cocktail hour and dinner. The lovely couple happily danced as they celebrated their love beneath the ambient lighting on the dance floor. During the reception, Meredith and I slipped into the wine cellar for a romantic portrait session.
